Freezing in the morning
Freezing in the evening
Freezing at suppertime
Be my little freezer
And freeze me all the time…
Couldn’t help it, this song just popped into my head, altered lyrics and all. The relentless cold has finally gotten to me. It feels like it will never be warm outside again!
I had to work yesterday and today, and this morning my car would not start. Finally got it started and was late for work.

Quote
“One kind word can warm three winter months.”
Japanese proverb
[If only it were only three winter months!]
We are having unusually warm weather here, I’d send you a few degrees if I could!
It does, indeed. And what it wants to do here is give us a small taste of what you have there. Small, of course, is a relative term. We’re forecast to get 5 to 8 inches with sleet/frozen rain mixed in, which will shut down my world completely until the weekend.
Hasn’t this just been a blitz for us in the northeastern hemisphere this year? What is going on? North of here is a mess, and now south of here will be a mess very soon. We are to get the mess on Thursday, too, so we won’t escape. California and the west coast need rain desperately, Britain is wallowing in flood waters every other day it seems, it just seems a bit much for this old planet to absorb.
Enough with the winter already!
The weather forecast is grim here. I was supposed to go to Nashville today to attend a funeral, but I’m reconsidering because of the warnings. It’s a tough call but getting up and down the mountain is perilous even in good weather.
Oh no, now you’ve put that song in my head too 😎
May the warmth be with you!
Joan, now that would be a good exchange, cooler there, warmer here!
Wendy, the impending weather there sounds truly gruesome! You remind me that there are worse things than cold. Keep safe, and warm!
I know Bex, the weather seems so extreme this season, all over the planet. Keep safe and warm there, when the winter weather comes your way!
The weather can really get in the way of our plans, can’t it Reenie. Safety is the primary concern, and mountain terrain must be really challenging! All we have here is rolling hills and Canadian Shield rocks, which are blasted out of the way when the roads are built. Stay safe!
Sorry Tom, about the song that is! I love “let the warmth be with you”, LOL!
