Merry Christmas

Wishing you a Merry Christmas, and a Happy Holiday Season to all who celebrate this wonderful time of year.

We have a white Christmas here, lots of snow, and below freezing temperatures. It is very pretty. On Christmas Eve we went for a stroll through the neighbourhood, enjoying the coloured lights, and the crisp air.

Today a turkey dinner is planned, mincemeat squares sit enticingly on the kitchen counter, and we have the DVD player ready to entertain us with “It’s A Wonderful Life”. On Christmas Eve we always watch A Christmas Carol, starring Alistair Sim, which I have watched annually since early childhood.

As I sit here quietly by the lights of the Christmas Tree, I watch Ginger, who gets it, sitting quietly on the sofa, chilling to the lights, enjoying the company.
